Last spring we saw an explosion of fluo tones coloring most of the collections. For spring 2010, designers are moving their palette to soft and neutral shades. Beige, antiqued pink, light golden tones, sandy and dune-colours, nude is the favorite palette for Spring/Summer fashion 2010.
The nature-inspired look with its soft and neutral shades will be one of the major trend of the next coming season. Its time to fill our closet with safari jackets and shorts, sandy-coloured silk shirts and everything remands to nature. To welcome the trend nude coloured accessories are needed too of course!
Pale colours cover the leather of shoes like in the Prada Spring/Summer collection of shoes. Christian Louboutin combine the natural-tone leather with natural material like on the wooden platforms. The perfect match can be found in the Miu Miu shoes collection. Miu Miu metallic leather sandals are a winning mix of light brown and golden, leather and natural materials.

High heels have always had a sensual appeal, and a synonymous to femininity. This season, different to the “normal” heels, we find some really architectonic highnesses. Plateau, stilettos, chunky heels and wedge heels appear to be created simply to challenge our sense of vertigo!
Subtle and curved towards the sole is the icon heel of Roger Vivier, global evergreen when it comes to stilettos. Miu Miu on the other hand goes for bamboo this spring/summer collection 2009, where pumps with maxi platform and heel made in cork are found. This last material can be find as well in the Christian Dior heels combined with shinny colours.
Definitely more rock and rule-breaking the style signed Gucci and the no famous Iman sandals, half stiletto half gladiator sandal. Super plateau for Giuseppe Zanotti and for Prada and its platform sandals in raffia.

On the international catwalks snakeskin printed fabrics, there of python, have been frequently used…
But not only, even shoes and accessories are exotic and a bit dangerous. Like these Roberto Cavalli strass and enamelled snake bracelets on the photo or the Jimmy Choo shoes in black and white coloured python. Both easy ways to gently incorporate this slightly extreme fashion in your everyday style.
If you instead want to strike everybody at the party you should try these python printed Prada dresses, both available at Giglio.com. They are top fashion , extreme but still delicate in their earth coloured tones or classic black and white. The beige coloured Versace dress in the middle is on the opposite made in jacquard printed fabric, not quite so eye-catching but still very beautiful in its simplicity.
