A belt from one of the most famous fashion label, is an accessory that can complete your look giving a stylish touch to your outfit. The quality of the leather and the workmanship of those items make the investment a worth one, and the design is just irresistible. These picks are my favourite belts from the 2010/11 fall winter collections and each one matches the leading trends of the season.
For the “bad girl” look this Galliano belt is just perfect. The neutral black fully covered of studs can be paired with an outfit with a punk attitude, or just mixed with casual sporting looks. While the Just Cavalli option (on the right) is a fashionable belt in silver shade with coloured rhinestones enriching the buckle: a good one to brighten up the look.
Those two suggestions from Gucci and Fendi are the ideal belts for sophisticated outfits. The classic allure is given by the logo details of the buckles with the initials of the fashion houses’ founders, and the leather employed is at the top quality.

At the premiere of “I Am Love” in New York, Tilda Swinton showed up with one of the classy dresses of the Fendi fall/winter 2010/11 collection. A black dress is always the most chic choice and in this case the exclusive soft and embracing cut make the look even more refined. The shoes, worn by the actress, are also from the same collection. As seen in the fashion show, those Fendi pumps with rubber caps are perfect with the dress. Great look!

These beautiful shoes are from the current Fendi collection, fall/winter 2010/11. You may remember them if you have seen the fashion show’s pictures. Those Fendi runway boots have a unique model which is elegant and casual in the same time. The exclusive design is mainly minimal, the only feature is the rubber top cap which distinguishes all the footwear created for this season by Fendi. This rubber detail is also proposed on the Fendi pumps. They come in various different colours and versions in many kind of leathers and fabrics like velvet. I think these are the most glamorous for winter. What do you think?

The first thing of this Fendi spring summer 2011 collections that catches my attention was the volume of the creations, which have comfortable cuts that are ideal for summer looks. Tunic dresses with just a coulisse highlighting the waist are proposed in summer colours such as aqua green, orange and, the common colour of every collections for the upcoming season, white. Anyway Fendi never compromise on originality and class, and we can notice it in the 70s influences: the main feature of the collection. A closer look to details makes us find an unexpected decoration: the border of some dresses seems to be obtained with fire, creating a burned effect on the fabric. While accessories deserve a closer attention as they are the strength of the label. The iconic baguette bag is proposed in new versions with the colours in vogue while waist belts are essential.

Here it is another trend that will help you when you are shopping for winter clothing. From the current suggestions coming from the latest fashion shows a fur waistcoat seems to be a must have for the 2010/11 winter. Almost every label has proposed at least one of those items in its collection, offering a huge choice from faux fur to coloured or using it just as a detail. Anyway, furs obviously bring winter to mind and it is the right option when we are looking for a perfect winter outfit. It can be combined with short dresses for a casual urban outfit or with long skirts as seen in the Fendi fashion show.

This year, the most fashionable colour of the chilly season seems to be yellow. The fact that this warm tone is largely employed on wintry collections sounds a bit strange. Usually it has been used on spring/summer collections bringing summer to mind like any other warm colours. However, the latest trend in fact of style says that yellow is a good choice for winter outfits. It has been seen on the catwalks of very important fashion shows of the most famous fashion houses, like Fendi, Dolce&Gabbana and Emporio Armani.
Fendi has made various items which are enriched with this lively colour, like skirts, blazers and even boots. Those items are the key pieces of the collection, which are mixed and matched with long huge skirts, and classy coats. The shade employed is such a kind of mustard, quite similar to ochre: a colour that can be perfectly combined with brown and green as well.
This dress proposed by Dolce&Gabbana expresses a young style without compromising on elegance. The bright yellow velvet is adorned with black lace decorations on the neckline. Versace offers this shade on coats and leather jackets, mixing it with black and dark grey dresses. While Emporio Armani use a different shade which is more similar to orange, on those designs. All of them express class and sophistication. Surely this colour makes a very original effect combined with classic wintry colour such as grey, black or dark green. It worth to take some inspirations from this newest collections and try it on your outfits!

The new Fendi fall/winter 2010 collection is undoubtedly an amazing collection. It is surely linked with the spring summer 2010 collection for the use of soft fabrics which make those dresses very light on the body and mild. All the styles express a sense of freedom for the volume of the sleeves that allow fluid movements therefore Karl Lagerfeld calls them “Butterfly or fling sleeves”. The fullness of the long skirts underlines the concept of the lightness that is the main allure of the collection.
The outfits seems to be inspired to the long tradition beyond this famous fashion house. Models seems to come out from another age, with their long skirts and exclusive blazers they are close to perfection suggesting a sense of vintage. Colours employed are all the shades of the natural colours, like green, brown and grey, combined with yellow, which is the distinctive colour of Fendi.
Fendi bags have been created with high quality materials and are perfectly matched with the outfits proposed. Coats have soft lines as well, exclusive cuts with fur details and without collars. Softness and pureness of fabrics combined with sophisticated and extremely elegant designs make this collection such as unique.

The it bag par excellence is undoubtedly the Fendi Peekaboo which, since its creation, gained a huge success. The high quality of the manufacture and the fantastic design are the features of this bag, most wanted by every woman. Every year it has been proposed in a range of colours and materials that follow the latest trend of fashion, but classic versions are definitely a timeless item for your wardrobe. As I could notice from the fall/winter collections previews and from the urban street style the main trend of the next season is a smart use of colours. Combine colours in outfits is not an easy think for everyone and sometimes tips can be useful even for the most fashion conscious. Have a look to those outfits chosen for the fall winter season and find you inspiration for your own look. As seen from many new collections dark colours are mixed with vivid colours like orange, yellow or red. This is the key of a smashing look, just try to match black or grey with ochre or yellow to get a look from the catwalk.
