Short sleeves and flowing fabrics or wool distinguish all the new couture creations for the fall/winter 2010/11 collections. And what about this new capes from the Emporio Armani collection? The fashionable materials, like velvet, organza and eco fur, make those items special pieces to complete your look. The first has double faces which make this item very versatile: one has elegant floral prints and the other is made of eco fur. The second is more elegant, fully made of organza, and slightly sheer. Those features make it suitable for a special occasion, maybe combined with a mini elegant dress. Finally the black one on the right is a classy velvet cape that can add a glamorous touch with its embracing cut.

The Giorgio Armani collection’s long glitzy dresses made in pearls and floral printed see trough fabrics, makes the models looking magic and unreal, like innocent soft fairies!

John Galliano though makes a stronger move, creating wild dresses in strong colors, making the models wearing blond curly wigs, strange enormous hats and heavy make up which gives the Galliano s/s collection an enchanting fairy tale touch! Like these green decorated soft Galliano dresses seen below.

D&GDolce & Gabbana this s/s collection made as well some incredibly peculiar dresses, which almost seem to derivate from an other world, the land of fairy tales. Almost reminding of a mixture of characters from Alice in wonderland. With these enormous eye-catching dresses.

The flower covered one though is more romantic and seems to be taken from a remote princess in some other world far away. Finally this year peculiar fairy tale-like dresses are more than perfect…

Large trousers, the new trend

In Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, styles and trends, Uncategorized on November 26, 2008 at 5:00 pm

As we know, fashion trends change vary quickly, a good and fitting example are trousers. The return to the fashion stage of bell-bottom and large trousers is not more a secret for the expert of fashion.

In many defilet, narrow trousers, that excelled last year, have been replaced by other: larger and more comfortable. The difference from the past is not only the big-sized, but also the long waist that replaces more familial short ones. So there is a real return to the past.

The dimension of trousers obviously depends on the stylish.
Giorgio Armani, for example, shows us an aggressive and clean line collection. A strong personality and a peculiar design makes it original, witty and fresh.
The unusual style is emphasizes by the big belt or the original material, like nylon. Another peculiarity of Emporio Armani collection are the big pockets that gave a sportive touch at the trousers. giorgio-armanigiorgio-armani2

The collection of Christian Dior  has a more classic style than Armani ones. His collection is classical not only for his dress-length but also for the squared weft.
Contributes to give a classic style also the type of material used, not more innovative like that one of Armani. He uses silk, rich and undying material. Christian Dior so joins the innovation of large trousers with classical elements, and this is the real strength of his collection. cristian-diorcristian-dior2
