Spring-summer 2009 campaigns:

In Balenciaga, Fashion Online, Gianni Versace, Gucci, News&Events, Uncategorized on January 9, 2009 at 5:33 pm

The hot season is coming and with her also the new spring-summer collections and also their respective advertising campaigns. Tepid breezes make we think about sun, sea and hot. The consequence is an inevitably change in our clothing style: cloths became more and more lighter, more vivid colors and rich patterns in general these are the main changes. Here there are the most attractive.

The Versace campaign, of witch Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen are testimonials, is as always sober, chic and fresh. The models are immortalized wearing a black or white mini-dress, they seem be ready for a disco part. The choice of the location clashes with the two models mise, they are on the sea, maybe on a ship. The result of this monothematic background is a major focus on the beautiful clothes and accessories.

Belanciaga brand chooses a more unusual and disquieting background. The improbable location is dark and three-dimensional, it seems to be the set of a modern video game also the models, Elsa Sylvan and Hanne Gaby Odiele seem to be surreal characters of a virtual world. Their stern poses, their marked features and the strong style of the clothes and accessories better stress this surreal atmosphere.

Gucci new “Exotic” collection is set in an exotic and foliated jungle. Models seem to be at their leisure, they seem explorers in a virgin forest. They are wearing colorful and practical clothes that are also up-to-date for the color but also for the style, whose simplicity is reduced thanks the use of showy accessories, like for example big belts, golden bracelets and precious python-skin bags.

Berlin muse of Versace.

In Fashion Online, Gianni Versace, styles and trends, Uncategorized on November 28, 2008 at 2:30 pm

tim_roeloffs_311 The city, precisely Berlin, is the subject of Versace’s fall-winter collection 2008/09. This collection arise from a collaboration between the artist Tim Roeloffs and Versace fashion house, also tanks to the interest of Donatella Versace in this city.

This co-operation originated a really splendid and fascinating collection, that seems to be a really work of art. Clothes, as paintings, are a real wearing masterpiece.

All the patterns on clothes and bags, have as subject Berlin metropolitan’s landscape. They take their origin by an accurate study of proportion and volume. They show a link between reality and imagination, due to the presence of senseless connection between real place and imaginative figures, likes exotic animals and unsuitable figures and objects.

The three-dimensional scenery is emphasize by light colours like: yellow, electric blue, violet, fuchsia and also by a gloss effect.
All the materials used in this collection are precious, we can find rich fabrics like silk or crocodile for exemple.

Foulard fashion

In Christian Dior, designers and labels, Gianni Versace, Gucci on October 20, 2008 at 2:42 pm

Synonymous of elegance and class, foulard has always been considered a distinctive element over the years, an accessory whose importance never ended. And fashion proves what just said with the revival of this useful accessory.

 Worn around the head…

as a scarf…

attached on a bag…

as a belt…

This lovely piece of silk gained the favour of designers. Designers left their print on the label making their style recognizable on foulards too. Below some foulards from Gucci, Christian Dior and Versace.

Interesting approach by Gucci, with a gipsy style pattern and dark colours.

Christian Dior, in fact, plays more with colours and geometrical round shapes creating a light effect.

Christian Dior:

The interest for geometrical shapes affects Versace too, even if he prefers squared forms to round ones. The use of colour in Versace is evident too, yellow is predominant with lovely combinations: yellow and lilac, yellow and fuchsia, yellow and white.

Milan Fashion Week: Versace, Fendi, Gucci

In designers and labels, Fashion Online, Fendi, Gianni Versace, Gucci, News&Events on October 8, 2008 at 11:08 am

At the Milan Fashion Week the new Versace 2009 spring summer collection. Main idea of the new woman by Versace is the attention to the figures and shapes. He suggests tied mini dresses for long and elegant legs, and slim jackets. The use of metallic fabrics exalts the figure too, in a game of seduction and sensuality.

Fendi’s woman for next 2009 summer is a combination of round shapes, following next summer attention of fashion towards geometric games. The circle is the mirror of the new femininity, the circle as symbol of eternity and perfection.

Gorgeous Gucci collection by Frida Giannini with amazing colours and surreal atmospheres. A melange of looks is what Gucci woman will be like: 70ees style with a touch of safari, a woman who likes travelling and adventures.

Designer Frida Giannini, the creative director of the Gucci maison, confessed she got inspired by strong and brave Oriana Fallaci. From here, tailleurs and suites with Saharan jackets, dresses and hats for an Iniana Jones style. For the night, lots of luxury maxi dresses, an enchanting visual melody for a woman who chooses the night as best moment to reveal her sensuality. Gucci collection prefers strong tonalities of colours like blue, turquoise, red, purple and orange.

Beautiful Charlize Theron attended the Venezia film festival too for the premier of “The burning plain” where she shares the screen with actress Kim Basinger.

She picked Versace outfits twice, a taffeta fuchsia silk dress for the photo call before the movie premier, and a luxury Versace one shoulder grey dress for the red carpet. Further comments on her style and beauty are useless I think…
