Pucci, a lovely way to achieve the colour trend!

In emilio pucci, styles and trends on May 25, 2009 at 2:08 pm

The Italian fashion house, Emilio Pucci has always been colourful and vivid! This year the Emilio Pucci s/s collection is full of beautiful sparkling patterns!

Dresses  with patterns from dark colours such as black, purple and dark green to summerish fuchsia, lilac and baby blue. Like the Pucci sleeved tiger printed dress (on the left of the photo) You will as well find blouses and dresses in green, yellow and turquoise shades! As the amazing turquoise and violet Emilio Pucci dress (on the right of the photo)

The prints are geometrical and full of energetic colour! By combining a printed top with similar monochrome coloured trousers you have achieved the magnificent colourfulness, this year so desired! Or  the other way around, printed trousers with a neutral top. Colourful bags and shoes are equally available in the new Pucci collection!

Make it Bohemian and chic, with floral printed maxi dresses and sheer!

In emilio pucci, Etro, Gucci, Miu Miu, Moschino Cheap & Chic, Roberto Cavalli, styles and trends on May 25, 2009 at 12:22 pm

A trend to adopt is the bohemian style which of course can be modified after taste…It can easily be made chic and casual or more relaxed with a hippie touch. How ever this season floral prints are very trendy and since they are so gorgeous lets see how to use them!

Bohemian maxi

Maxi dresses are a great way to achieve that chic bohemian look. The Roberto Cavalli s/s collection  has a lot of them. Like the vividly multicoloured Roberto Cavalli maxi dress seen on the photo. It gives you the bohemian touch but is still fresh and delicate! For more Cavalli maxi dresses click here.

The Moschino Cheap & Chic collection makes it bohemian with a vintage/hippie touch, se the Ad campaign above. Floral printed dresses  in pastel shades made in silk and cotton  gives you a soft and feminine look. The squared blazer with green buttons with a pair of stripped jeans, bow clutch and plateau gives you the right vintage look. Very cute feminine Moschino Cheap & chic dresses are as well a great ingredient to achieve the right flower power spirit this spring/summer!

Big sunglasses and colourful tunics and shirts are must haves to catch the relaxed and free look, see the Emilio Pucci s/s collection for insipiration. Emilio Pucci who’s known for his colour is a great inspiration source!

For kaftans and tunics in sheer fabric go for Etro s/s collection 2009, where you can find thousands of floral printed clothing items in warm gold and red colours as well as beach colours such as white and blue! For the brave ones try the wide printed hippie trousers from the Etro s/s collection 2009! They are so funny and totally hippie!!!

To make your look complete remember to combine the right shoes! The shoes are more important than you might think but the shoes always gives that necessary final touch which later proves if you made it or not, if your look is a success or not!

Gladiator sandals are of course a great choice… The silver Gucci gladiator sandals gives you a more modern and chic look. Instead the Miu Miu gladiator sandals are very natural and are a great choice!

Experiment with sandals, plateau and big glasses to find your personalized bohemian style! The only thing you need to start is a bit of creative fantasy! Have fun!

The Emilio Pucci s/s collection was for the last year in the hands of Matthew Williamson who now left his place as  creative director to the stylist Peter Dundas.

The Emilio Pucci‘s collection is as coloured as always, from light red and pink to yellow and green, light colours and geometrical prints.

In fact the geometrical prints are a new geometrical version of the historical Vivara print and the main theme of this year’s collection. The clothes this season are mostly long beautiful dresses, kaftans and one-shoulder dresses.  As well as interesting suites in green and purple in different patterns.

Extremely Spring and extremely cute  is this year’s Emilio Pucci s/s collection!

Fall winter 2008/09: Emilio Pucci Cosmo fantasy

In emilio pucci on September 11, 2008 at 9:57 am

Designers are so much caring of their style and distinctive lines related to their customers who always look for a referential point.

As a matter of fact, Emilio Pucci is one of the most recognizable designers for his choices and patterns. His style is a mixture of geometrical and surreal suggestions with an excellent use of colours.

Emilio Pucci’s next fall winter collection is going to witness the presence of his new fantasy, called Cosmo Fantasy, a sparkling option to the monotonous winter colours. The Cosmo fantasies mix together warm colours such as brown, orange and beige, and more lively tonalities like wisteria, grey and strong pink.

Apart from dresses, you will find the Emilio Pucci Cosmo fantasies on bombers, coats and shoulder items in general, as shown from the shots below.

Maria Carla Boscono for Emilio Pucci 2008/09 winter ad campaign

In emilio pucci on August 4, 2008 at 11:11 am

Italian model Maria Carla Boscono is the testimonial of the Emilio Pucci 2008/09 ad campaign. Posing for Emilio Pucci, her figure with brown hair creates a wonderful chromatic contrast with the multicolour fantasies of Emilio Pucci collection.

Every shot of the campaign is sensational, and the background too is so in harmony with the collection as shown by the picture: marble statues, big columns, fresco walls, it looks like a museum!!!
