The Emilio Pucci s/s collection was for the last year in the hands of Matthew Williamson who now left his place as  creative director to the stylist Peter Dundas.

The Emilio Pucci’s collection is as coloured as always, from light red and pink to yellow and green, light colours and geometrical prints.

In fact the geometrical prints are a new geometrical version of the historical Vivara print and the main theme of this year’s collection. The clothes this season are mostly long beautiful dresses, kaftans and one-shoulder dresses.  As well as interesting suites in green and purple in different patterns.

Extremely Spring and extremely cute  is this year’s Emilio Pucci s/s collection!

A coloured winter

In Fashion Online, Roberto Cavalli, styles and trends on November 26, 2008 at 12:04 pm

For ages winter has been synonymous of cold, melancholy and sadness. The rigours of winter has also inevitably influenced clothes and fashion. The result were dark and serious colours that imbue our style of dress, sometimes making it impersonal and strict too.

This year things seem to be changed. Many important designers in fact, have re-introduced gaudy colours and brilliant patterns, that make winter clothes more attractive as the girls that wear them.

Missoni in his collection propose us really coloured, jersey minidresses. Geometrical patterns are the main characteristic of his collection.
Practical, comfortable but also chic this dresses are suitable for all kinds of circumstance.m-missoni-23m-missoni-3

Roberto Cavalli like Missoni, gives many importance in his new fall-winter collection to brilliant colours. He uses lots of fuchsia, pink, green, violet and black as background. The materials are more valuable, silk and chiffon: this are the main employed ones. roberto-cavalliroberto-cavalli-2

Emilio Pucci maybe is the designer that better embodies this necessity of colour and brightness, used as remedy to the dark and sad days of winter. His creations are fresh and witty too, coloured as a Pop picture, bear the good humour also during the most raining days of the year. The eccentricity is their strength.
The turtleneck make this dress both smart and casual-chic, perfect to be worn in all circumstances: at morning with a leather jacket, or as cocktail dress too. This item of clothing for his versatility is really indispensable. emilio-pucciemilio-pucci-2emilio-pucci-3

Fall winter 2008/09: Emilio Pucci Cosmo fantasy

In emilio pucci on September 11, 2008 at 9:57 am

Designers are so much caring of their style and distinctive lines related to their customers who always look for a referential point.

As a matter of fact, Emilio Pucci is one of the most recognizable designers for his choices and patterns. His style is a mixture of geometrical and surreal suggestions with an excellent use of colours.

Emilio Pucci’s next fall winter collection is going to witness the presence of his new fantasy, called Cosmo Fantasy, a sparkling option to the monotonous winter colours. The Cosmo fantasies mix together warm colours such as brown, orange and beige, and more lively tonalities like wisteria, grey and strong pink.

Apart from dresses, you will find the Emilio Pucci Cosmo fantasies on bombers, coats and shoulder items in general, as shown from the shots below.

Maria Carla Boscono for Emilio Pucci 2008/09 winter ad campaign

In emilio pucci on August 4, 2008 at 11:11 am

Italian model Maria Carla Boscono is the testimonial of the Emilio Pucci 2008/09 ad campaign. Posing for Emilio Pucci, her figure with brown hair creates a wonderful chromatic contrast with the multicolour fantasies of Emilio Pucci collection.

Every shot of the campaign is sensational, and the background too is so in harmony with the collection as shown by the picture: marble statues, big columns, fresco walls, it looks like a museum!!!
